How to save backups to a folder

Selecting the Backup Folder
- Choose Folder Storage:
- In the BackWPup settings, navigate to the storage options and select ‘Folder’ to save your backups locally.
- Specify the path for the folder where the backups will be stored, typically within the
wp-contentdirectory of your WordPress installation.
Configuring Backup Retention
- Backup Retention Settings:
- Enter the maximum number of backup copies you wish to keep in the ‘Max backups to retain’ field.
- When this limit is exceeded, the oldest backup will automatically be deleted to make space for new ones.
